St. Paul’s Hospital

St. Paul’s is Dr. Yam’s home base. Her OB patients are registered for delivery here and she also provides emergency GYN care and elective surgery at this site. Dr. Yue also performs elective GYN surgery here.

The maternity unit accommodates approximately 1,800 births per year, and also specializes in the care of women with cardiac and renal problems in pregnancy.

Gynaecologic emergencies are managed in the busy ER, and both emergency and elective GYN surgeries take place in the OR. St. Paul’s is also the designated site for Urogynaecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery in Vancouver.
