UBC Hospital is part of Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). Elective (planned) gynaecologic surgeries take place here. These include major in-patient procedures and minor daycare procedures.

For Drs. Bélanger and Branco, most of our elective major (in-patient) gynaecologic surgeries and some of our out-patient daycare surgeries are done at UBC Hospital. This hospital is part of Vancouver Coastal Health and is located amidst the lush greenery of the UBC campus. It is a nice and tranquil place to have an operation. The OR at UBC has specially-designed rooms and state-of-the-art equipment for minimally-invasive surgery (MIS).

UBC Hospital is located in the Koerner Pavilion and the address is 2211 Westbrook Mall. You will enter through the Main Entrance, which is immediately to the right of the Urgent Care Centre. Parking options include short-term hourly parking in front of the hospital (ACU Lot), and a large parkade (Health Sciences Parkade) at the back.

When your surgery is booked, you will receive a booklet with detailed instructions regarding your procedure.
